History

Inspired by the noble profession of teaching, Rosario P. Santos laid the foundation for a pre-school learning center in 1985 which was affiliated with the Pre- Elementary Educators of the Philippines (PEP). She named the school Holy Rosary Learning Center after its patroness, the Blessed Virgin Mary. It started with 18 pupils from nursery to preparatory levels under the tutelage of Ms. Josephine dela Vega.

In 1986, Fredalynn Santos Geralde joined the teaching force as the population increased with pupils coming from different areas of Valenzuela.

After extensive training, the school finally adopted the Montessori Curriculum incorporating major aspects of Piagetian Constructivism educational philosophy. GovernmentrecognitionwasgrantedonOctober27,1992.

With its rich history of providing quality education to its students over the years, the school has grown and in 2000, it expanded its offerings to include the grade school department

After years of consideration and planning, the school finally decided to offer high school courses in 2008 which was a significant milestone for the school, providing new opportunities for students to pursue their academic and personal goals. The completion of the new building was a crucial step in this process, allowing the school to expand and evolve to meet the needs of its growing student body.

In 2016, the school was given an accreditation by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC). This accreditation is a prestigious achievement, a testament to the school’s commitment to providing quality education to its students and its dedication to continuous improvement.

At present, in pursuit of academic excellence, SRM keeps on enhancing services, curricula and physical facilities to meet the demands of the ever- changing educational landscape.
